The Company

Brick Wall Studio is a small artist's studio located in Colorado Springs, CO. Brick Wall focuses on large format abstract paintings on canvas.

The Challenge

Brick Wall Studio needed a website to highlight their large-format canvas paintings in a portfolio and e-commerce format. The site needed to reflect the strong personality of the company.

The Solution

Sandstone Media created a design that highlighted the artwork in a side navigation using large thumbnails. Once selected, individual works are showcased in a large visual format with a zooming option. To create community, users are able to write comments about individual pieces. A specialized font was used to convey the personality of the company. A blog allows the company to further display its personality in a casual tone.

The Result

A simple, uncomplicated site that simulateously showcases all the works in thumbnail version while allowing for one piece to be highlighted on the page. A unique and rebellious design and font convey the company's personality.
